Bella is growing so fast and is finally starting to verbalize things. We taught her sign language so she could communicate when she was hungry or thirsty, and she just never felt the need to talk. Well, finally those words are coming out! And since I know pretty soon she will start saying words right, I want to remember how cute it is when she tries to talk. Here are a few...
Da-ee: Daddy
Ma: Mom
Bee: Baby, she loves any baby
B-B-B-B-Me: Singing her ABC's, next time won't you sing with me.
Dar: Car, this is the first word she says to me every morning after she signs for milk. She hates being home and wants to get up and go every morning... me, not so much of a morning person, but I have been trying to be better.
Bue: Blue (her favorite color right now)
Neen: Green
Yayayo: Yellow
i-yone: phone
i-ya-mor: i want more (one word)
uh-huh: yes, thank you, and just general for anything
that's mine: this phrase she knows very well. I hear her saying that when she is going to bed at night, apparantly her imaginary friends are trying to take her stuff while she is trying to sleep.
I have decided that she is a perfectionist, and I think this plays into the fact that she doesn't talk a lot. She knows she can't say it right, so she won't even try. She doesn't like to color because she can't get the crayon to color how she wants, so she tells me what color she wants and makes me do it. She gets very upset if something tips over or isn't "right" One time she saw one of the deck chairs blown over onto a table outside Chad's parents house, and she freaked out and made Chad go outside and fix it, and then she could keep playing. She has also given us assigned seats at the dinner table, and if someone else comes over it takes her awhile to understand that they are sitting in Mommy's or Daddy's chair. I don't know what I am going to do with her when she gets older if she is this bad already.

I love it when the get the courage to try and talk. It is one of the most exciting things about having kids.. I love to watch them accomplish things. Bella is such a sweetie
