Halloween 2009

I have to say that Halloween was a lot more fun this year with a three year old that kind of understood what was going on. The Pumpkin Express: We went to The Pumpkin Express with Chad's family like we do every year. Bella loves to do anything with her cousins, even if it just playing at the house. She squeels every time she sees them, and she won't let anyone forget Baby Jacob, or JJ, which is what we have all started calling him. She has really missed having them around! It rained like crazy this fall in Texas, so the pumpkin patch was muddy. But the kids enjoyed the train ride, bounce house and seesaw.




Halloween Night: Isabella said she wanted to be a ballerina. Then later she decided she wanted wings and a wand too. She has been loving the color pink, so she was a pink ballerina with wings and a wand! Chad drove down from tech school to take her trick or treating, but he had to drive back that night. I don't have pics of us actually trick or treating - well actually we went trunk or treating at the church parking lot - but it was a lot of fun! Bella was really shy and wouldn't say a word or even hold her bag out for people to put candy in. Then, at the last 5 cars or so she got brave enough to actually take the candy out of the person's hand and put it in her bag. She talked about it for days afterward. Next year is going to be a lot of fun, especially with two little squirts to dress up!
