Sign Langage

We have been teaching Isabella Sign Langauge since she was about 9 months old. We just taught her the basics, like more and all done. For Christmas, Aunt Heidi and Uncle Steven and the girls bought Isy 'Baby Einsteins, My First Signs' (thanks guys : ). She has picked up on the new signs so fast. It is really amazing to see how smart she is and how much she wants to communicate. It is also nice to have her sign drink instead of whine at me when she is thirsty. We had tried to teach her eat and drink before, but she didn't really understand. I don't know how Baby Einstein does it, but it is like school for her. She learned ball, drink, eat, bath, baby and blanket within a week and a half. She recognizes the signs for mommy and daddy, but she is still trying to sign them, I guess those are a little more complicated for her. We are also working on please and thank you. I really liked 'Baby Einstein, Baby's First Moves' too. She learned to spin, twist, jump and kick and stuff. Here is a video of her showing off!

P.S. We haven't done anything to update the outside of our house yet, so ignore the cracked cement and blue door!
