So I know I have been terrible about posting lately. So far this year Chad started school again, we all got a really bad cold with a lot of congestion, which led to two doctor visits, the jetta broke down, and then the truck broke down (both are fixed now, thank goodness). Basically life has just been crazy. But then something happened that put everything in perspective, we found out President Hinckley passed away. I know he was 97 years old and obviously it was his time, but wow was I not expecting that! He has been the Prophet since I was 11 years old, I respected and admired him. He was a person that, at least in my eyes, was highly respected worldwide. I am glad to say I grew up while he was the Prophet! And even though I still have a lot of things going this week, I will take time to stop and think about what is really important and what really matters more than worrying about the floors being mopped or the laundry being folded and put away. I am also going to try a lot harder to read my scriptures every night! I guess I realized that since becoming a mom I have gotten really caught up in life and have slacked on doing some things that I should, it's nice to stop and think about the big picture! I remember one of my seminary teachers asking the boys in class what they thought of President Hinckley and I don't really remember what they said, but then he asked the girls, and all of us said he is the cutest old man. And he was!
